Giving

Each year we need to raise a significant sum to continue to cover the work of the local congregation and the Church of Scotland nationally. We rely on collections and donations to cover a large part of that cost.

The generosity of our supporters has been overwhelming in the past, driven by the knowledge that they are continuing to support the Lord's work and spread the good word. We hope this generosity will continue for many years in the future.

There are a number of ways you can donate to St Machar's Ranfurly Church.

A new easy way to give is via the Church of Scotland online giving system; this will go directly to our congregation. You can also gift aid your donation. Please click here to access. It uses PayPal but you do not need a PayPal account, just a bank card and it is a safe way to give online.

Regular giving is what helps us with our day to day running and can be done through the setting up of a standing order with your bank, by donating cash or using the Freewill Offering envelopes to put in the collection plate passed through the pews at the end of the sermon. To set up a standing order you can find a form here to send to your bank. Some banks also allow you to set up a standing order by phone or internet banking.

If you want to make a one-off donation you can do so by cheque or online transfer to St Machar's Ranfurly Church, Clydesdale Bank, Sort Code 82-61-11, Account Number: 9015 5171. Please email our treasurer if you have made an online transfer for a specific cause (treasurer@stmacharsranfurlychurch.org.uk).
