Impact of the Coronavirus

Church services continuing

We appreciate you may be wondering what is happening to church services. We are following government and Church of Scotland advice and are still meeting for worship on Sundays as usual. This situation may of course change. Check our website or Facebook page for up to date information, also in relation to other social gatherings.

We are following precautions such as no handshaking, offering plate will not be passed through the pews (but retiring offering will be held) and our biscuits will be wrapped. We do not have communion planned until Holy Week, and we will take precautions then as to safe distribution of the elements.

We ask those that have cold/flu symptoms please do not attend the services, in order to protect the vulnerable.

It's important that, as long as it is safe to do so, we continue as normal and we will be making every effort for this to happen.

Can we help?

If you are self isolating because you have the Coronavirus or to keep safe if you are at risk, let us know if you need help getting groceries or medicines. If you just need a chat we can call you! Contact the minister via email or phone 01505 612975. For the rest of us, do look out for each other and your neighbours. Why not drop in a note with a phone number if you think people might need you?

Meantime listen to the advice, take good care and stay safe.
